A medium-sized wood processing company is looking for a robust and powerful mounted sweeper for its indoor and outdoor premises that can be used with a forklift truck as a carrier vehicle. The timber construction company would like to sweep at least 1-3 times a week. Previous sweepers have more or less cleaned, but have not been able to meet the particular challenges satisfactorily.
The offer
The customer was impressed and convinced by the GRÜNIG mounted sweeper after a telephone consultation, a subsequent quotation that was easily within budget and a subsequent demonstration on site. All customer requirements for the sweeper can be met.
The conclusion of the purchase
On the recommendation of GRÜNIG Industriemaschinen, the customer opted for the GRÜNIG GSX mounted sweeper with a working width of 2 metres, a side brush and a water spraying device. And because the customer wanted to use two different carrier vehicles for cleaning the plant, he chose the sweeper with its own drive, i.e. with a hydraulic unit on the sweeper that drives the sweeper independently of the forklift truck’s hydraulics. The sweeper is only pushed by the forklift truck.
However, if a free hydraulic circuit is available on the forklift truck, e.g. for operating a sideshift, the hydraulic unit would not be required and the sweeper could be connected and operated by connecting two lines to the forklift truck hydraulics using quick-release couplings.
